Biography

2024–2025 Photographer / Fine Art Photographer
I worked in Atlanta, Georgia as a fine art photographer, focusing on nature and environmental photography.

2013–2024 Freelance Photographer / Fine Art Photographer
In Los Angeles, I worked as a fine art photographer specializing in black-and-white urban street photography and documenting civil movements. My documentary photographs have been published in outlets such as The Washington Post, The Guardian, The Nation, LA Weekly, and Hyperallergic.

My work has been exhibited in the United States and internationally, including at the Mexicali Biennial 2019 in Pasadena, California.

In addition, I worked as a freelance photographer in Los Angeles producing fashion photography, clothing collection shoots, and album cover photography.

I also worked as a freelance photographer in Los Angeles, California focusing on event photography and real estate photography. My main clients included the Alliance for California Traditional Arts organization and Stevenson Real Estate Services.

2006–2013 Fine Art Photographer
I worked as a fine art photographer in Finland from 2006 to 2013. From 2007 to 2009, I studied at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, earning a Master’s degree in Fine Arts.

My work has been exhibited at venues such as the Vantaa Art Museum, Nelimarkka Museum in Alajärvi, and Gallery Peri in Turku.

I have received grants for my artistic work from organizations including the Finnish Art Society, the Arts Council of Finland, the Swedish Cultural Foundation in Finland, the Ostrobothnia Arts Council, and the City of Turku.

I live and work currently in Jyväskylä, Finland
